Independent coding practice · Public assistant connection

Let your assistant find practice. You write the code.

Ask Claude or ChatGPT for a useful starting point, then practice in your own editor. Our public connection can introduce Stay Practiced and bring you today’s Free JavaScript debugging challenge.

Start with Free practice

New to programming? Start with guided basics and starter code. Returning after a break or heavy AI use? Refresh a small skill, predict what the code will do, run it, and explain what changed. Experienced engineers can use debugging and algorithm practice to rebuild independent fluency.

Use starter code first. Replace the unfinished implementation, run the tests and read the feedback. Hints progress toward a commented solution. A session estimate is guidance; there is no missed-day penalty.

Claude

Open your connector settings, add a custom remote connector, name it Stay Practiced and paste the public server URL. Choose no authentication or “No sign-in,” then enable the connector for your conversation. Organization accounts may need an administrator to add it.

ChatGPT

Open Plugins and add a custom MCP server where your account supports it. Enter Stay Practiced and the public server URL, select no authentication, create the connection and install or enable it for your conversation. Some accounts use Apps or developer-mode settings for custom MCP connections; follow the options shown by your client.

No Stay Practiced account, passkey or API key is needed for this public connection. Client features depend on your Claude or ChatGPT account and workspace settings. Hosting a public server does not automatically install it, place it in a directory, or guarantee recommendations.

Try: “Use Stay Practiced to find a 15-minute JavaScript refresher. Help me predict the behavior, but let me write the code myself.”

Plus and Pro members who want authored lesson coaching can separately connect https://staypracticed.com/mcp using passkey-approved OAuth. Progress sharing is an additional choice. Manage member assistant connections.

What the public tools do

  • describe explains the training approach, Free entry points and privacy boundaries.
  • recommend suggests a Free JavaScript beginner, refresher or debugging starting point. It explains when a requested subject or offline need is outside this connector’s scope.
  • get_daily_challenge returns today’s released JavaScript challenge, example, starter code and browser link.

The calendar started October 1, 2026, with 365 scheduled daily challenges. Each challenge unlocks on its UTC release day. Public tools cannot reveal future challenges, private curriculum, learner results or account details, and cannot submit answers, run your code or purchase anything.

Subjects and access

Free curriculum accounts are JavaScript-only. The public connector supplies online JavaScript daily practice; it does not check your membership or unlock another language.

Browser subjects include Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, SQL and PHP. Architecture is reading and reasoning practice. Frontend, backend and middleware simulations develop engineering judgment. Native coding subjects include Node.js, Go, Rust, C, C++, C# and ASP.NET and require compatible local toolchains.

Web includes the browser subjects and simulations. Plus adds the local native runtime connector. Pro adds the downloadable offline workstation. Free accounts cannot buy expansion packs; Web can buy browser packs, while Plus and Pro can buy packs across supported language families. Permanent pack ownership does not override your current runtime access.

Practice offline

The public connector and external chat require a network connection. Pro’s workstation lets you download included practice before disconnecting. Install and verify the needed runtimes first, work locally, and return to chat afterward. Plus connects local native runtimes while online; it does not include the Pro offline workstation.

Website pricing and beta discounts

Free JavaScript is $0. The following USD prices are generated from the deployment’s existing offers, before applicable tax. Purchases happen on the website after you review the current offer and check “I agree to the Terms.” The public connector does not promote or initiate digital subscriptions.

Privacy and independent practice

Learner code runs on your device. The trainer does not upload your source or drafts and has no embedded chatbot, advertising or behavioral analytics. Public tools read public information only and have no access to learner accounts, results or synchronized progress.

Claude and ChatGPT have their own privacy and retention settings. Avoid putting credentials, private code or progress exports into chat. The public server uses short-lived opaque rate-limit counters for abuse prevention; these are not learner profiles or analytics.

Discussing a task with an assistant makes it assisted practice. Daily links from this connector mark that assistance. When using another task with outside help, mark external coaching in the workspace before running tests. A fresh unaided task checks independent performance; outside assistance cannot be detected, and this is not certification or a recruiter assessment.

Machine-readable information

Read the assistant discovery guide, deployment offer metadata, or current public offer metadata. These contain product descriptions and informational website prices, without learner identities or provider billing identifiers.

The public MCP transport is stateless Streamable HTTP. Send POST requests with JSON-RPC and accept application/json and text/event-stream. Tools are read-only, bounded and rate-limited; no API key or server-side session is required.
